Adi's Life

Wow, I can't believe that next Wednesday we will be moving into our new place. I am very excited. It seems like there is so much to do to get ready to move. Tonight I actually started packing. I started in my room. I have two boxes packed. It is amazing how much more stuff is in my bedroom alone. When I moved up here all I had was two boxes of stuff and then my clothes. Well, I have to say that I have alot more than that now. It doesn't help that my mom brought me a whole bunch of stuff when she came to visit.

Only six sleeps left in this building!!

Next month our company is holding a Christmas party. It is to be in Grande Prairie with a whole wack of the branches. Each area is having a party. This way instead of it being just the four of us in our store it will be with a whole lot of people. I was looking forward to meeting some of the people that I talk to on the phone on an almost daily basis.

The plan was for us to drive down after we closed and we were going out to dinner and then going to a couple bars and staying over night. We were under the impression that the company was paying for the dinner and the hotel room.

Well, today we found out that we are supposed to be paying for ourselves. We were a little disappointed. Three of us know we can't afford this as it would be over $100 for the whole night. So tomorrow when the three of us are all in the store we are going to tell our manager that we won't be able to go.

This sucks because I was looking forward to a night out of town.

What a waste of a day. Today after I did some laundry I was going to go to town with my boyfriend. He wanted to see if his cheque was ready and I thought that we could go to Walmart because I'd like to start Christmas shopping and I also need to pick up a few groceries. He was doing a load of laundry after me and after it was done he was going to get dressed and we would go. Just before he went to get his clothes I mentioned that I'd like to leave soon. He comes back from getting his laundry and tells me that I can just go to town my self, he doesn't feel like going. Well, I don't really want to go shopping by myself, I wanted to go with him. I'm not going to go into town just to get groceries. So now I'm just going to hang out at my house with Erin and Kyle and he can hang out at his house by himself.

If I had of known that he didn't want to come earlier in the day then I probably would of gone myself because there is a couple other things I'd like to do in town one of these days on my own but it is too late in the day. One of these things is go to the travel agent because I'd like to look into some trips. I'd really love to go and travel somwhere sometime soon. I've wanted to travel for quite some time now. Even if it is only a couple week trip somewhere.

Maybe I'll do some online shopping.

I was just talking to my dad on the phone and found out some awesome news. He proposed to his girlfried last weekend. They've been together three years now. They are getting married next September. This is very very cool. Every figured that they weren't getting married. Basically this is because this is what they said. They have both been there. But I am so excited about this. And also it is a good excuse to go home.

Yes, I know its been a while since I posted. But while my family was visiting I didn't go on the computer. I had a really awesome visit with my mom and grandma. It was tonnes of fun. I really didn't want them to leave. As a matter of fact I just wanted to jump on the plane and fly home with them.

Work has been work. Last week I got my first bonus there. That was really nice. I can't wait until the next one. We get one every month. The amount depends on how many of our targets we achieve. I'm still keeping my eye out for something better though.

My boyfriend got a new job the other day. It is at a pub that is going to be opening up next week. He is very happy because he will be serving and bartending and not having to work in the kitchen. My old boss from the golf course works there as well. He wants me to apply for a job there. I wouldn't mind maybe seeing about getting something part time to make some extra money. Tomorrow I am probably going to go up there to talk to the manager and see what he has to say.

I can't believe that already tomorrow is the day my mom and grandma get here. I am so so excited. I know that today and tomorrow are just going to drag on. It is going to be so awesome to see them and to get to spend some time with them. They are also going to bring me some of my stuff with them. That will be nice.

Tonight will probably be a late night, not that I will probably sleep very well anyway. After I get home from work I'm going to have to finish tidying up the place and tidy my room up and pack since I am staying with them in a hotel. Hopefully the place will stay clean until I bring them here. We are going to hang out at my place on Sunday or Monday, or maybe both. Me and my grandma may do some christmas baking. I love christmas cookies so much.

Today has been an awesome day off. Me and Erin have been having a girl day.

I had to go into town for the doctor this morning so she came with me. We had to make a couple of stops to pick some things up. We went out for lunch. It was very yummy. After our errands we went to the gym. That was fun. After the gym we came home and cleaned most of the house. I have to say we did an awesome job. Now my hair is just processing. I'm going to be a redhead again. The time just went off so I should go and get it rinsed off my head. But I will let you know how I like it.

Update: It is dark and red and very very nice. I like.
